COVID-19 Update
CHI St. Joseph Children’s Health is committed to the health and well-being of children and families throughout the Lancaster, Pennsylvania Community. As we respond as a community to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have taken necessary steps to help reduce the risk to our patients, our participants and our employees. The following steps have been implemented as of March 17, 2020:
- All behavioral health services (psychiatric care, therapy, family wellness coaching and case management will be available via telephone and video conference. All CHI St. Joseph Children’s Health facilities have been closed until further notice. We will begin scheduling in-person appointments as soon as it is appropriate and safe for both our patients, their families and our employees. While you are at home, check out our new YouTube channel for videos from our therapists on being kind, looking at what we can control, taking a break and keeping our body moving.
- All educational programs offered by CHI St. Joseph Children’s Health have been suspended until it is deemed safe for groups to again gather and enjoy the health and wellness messages provided by our talented educators and Hank the Health Hero. For now, follow Hank and the team for daily activities on Hank’s Facebook page.
- Starting on March 17th through July 31st the Healthy Columbia Project distributed meals through the Healthy Columbia Crisis Meals Initiative. Meals were distributed every five days for Columbia residents at the Healthy Columbia Office (401 Locust Street). The meal program was extended as necessary to meet community need. All other Healthy Columbia programs have been suspended until further notice. Click here to make a donation to the Healthy Columbia Crisis Meals
