TAKE A LOOK: the high school
The Mary Francis Bachmann School offers the Lancaster Community its first Waldorf-Informed High School Experience for Children and Families. The upstairs of the formerly cloistered section of the Monastery, which had served as the Sisters’ private rooms, will be transformed into engaging classroom space for our high school students.
While students will learn from various faculty content experts throughout the day, our emphasis upon building strong and lasting relationships throughout the education experience continues. High school students will have the same “home class” teacher with whom they will start and end the day throughout the four years of high school. While allowing the Mary Francis Bachmann School to create a strong and engaging academic program for all of our students, the consistent “home class” teacher forges another strong touchstone and foundational relationship for both the child and family.
